HDcMR

Dense by design.

High Density Composite Moisture Resistant board.

01

Brand Philosophy

Engineered twice.

Every surface you admire rests on a board you never see. HDcMR exists so that what you never see is never the weak point. Dense by design. Consistent by discipline. Built for the machines, hands and hinges of modern furniture making.

Great furniture is engineered twice. Once on the drawing board — proportions, joins, the idea. And once in the board itself — the material that must carry the idea through a decade of doors closing.

Most of the industry treats the second engineering as a commodity. We treat it as the point.

HDcMR is built on a simple conviction: precision is not a feature to list, it is a temperament to keep. The same panel, every panel. The same edge, every cut. The same behaviour in June as in January. Craftsmanship and performance are not rivals here; density is where they agree.

The Face

Density is not a claim on a data sheet. It is what the surface looks like when you put your eye to it.

03

Why HDcMR

The name is the specification.

HD

High Density.

Density is where quality begins. It is the weight that tells your hand something before your eye confirms it — the grip that holds a screw for years, the body that keeps an edge crisp under a router.

C

Composite.

Engineered construction, uniform through and through. Wood, reorganised for consistency no tree can promise — so the material behaves the same at every point the tool touches.

MR

Moisture Resistant.

Built for the rooms furniture actually lives in — kitchens, wardrobes, working interiors. Moisture-resistant construction, stated as exactly that; no more, and confidently no less.

Quantitative data — density, thicknesses, sheet sizes, test results — to be published from actual data sheets once confirmed. The copy above stands correct with or without them.

04

Performance

Ten quiet promises.

01

High density construction.

Not a figure on a page — edges that stay sharp, screws that stay held, furniture that stays furniture.

02

Consistency, panel to panel.

The hundredth board behaves like the first. Production lines are built on exactly this.

03

Machining precision.

Profiles come off the tool the way they left the drawing.

04

Superior edge finishing.

Edges are where boards confess. This one has little to confess.

05

Smooth surface.

A surface that makes the finish's job easy — and the finisher's day shorter.

06

Screw-holding strength.

A hinge is a promise. Density is what keeps it.

07

Dimensional stability.

Seasons change. The board doesn't.

08

Surface preparation behaviour.

Takes primer and lacquer evenly, without argument.

09

Finish compatibility.

At ease beneath veneer, laminate, PU, acrylic and membrane alike.

10

Manufacturing discipline.

Precision is checked, not assumed.

The rational case

Precision engineering.

Behaviour you can plan around — in the workshop and on site.

Reliable performance.

The board does today what it did last quarter. Specification is trust, repeated.

Design flexibility.

Routed, shaped, profiled, pressed — the material says yes.

Premium surface quality.

Finishes look expensive because the ground beneath them is flawless.

Longevity.

Furniture-grade in the oldest sense: made to be kept.

One responsible house.

Backed by the Wallgreens Group — suppliers to India's most demanding builders.

05

Surface Compatibility

At home beneath every finish.

A great substrate is a generous one. HDcMR is engineered to serve the finish, not compete with it — smooth enough for high-gloss PU and acrylic, stable enough for natural veneers, consistent enough for laminates and membrane pressing, even-tempered under paint.

It is, by design, the natural companion beneath SFE's own veneer and laminate collections. One house: the surface you see, and the substance beneath it.

06

Manufacturing Excellence

Discipline, not adjectives.

We describe how HDcMR is made in plain terms, because plain terms are enough: carefully selected raw material, a controlled and consistent production process, and a quality standard that is checked at the line — not assumed at the brochure.

No borrowed technologies. No imported adjectives. A board this dependable does not need a story taller than itself.

07

Sustainability

More board from less tree.

Engineered boards ask less of the forest. Composite construction puts more of the tree to work — organised into panels that make consistent use of material a solid plank would waste.

Beyond that, our rule is the house rule: we publish only what we can prove. As documentation and certifications specific to HDcMR are secured, they will appear here — and not a sentence sooner.

08

Applications

Made for the work.

Wherever furniture is made seriously, the board decides more than it is credited for.

  • Modular kitchensthe room that tests every material, daily.
  • Wardrobesdoors that close the same way in year ten.
  • Furniture manufacturingrepeatability, at production scale.
  • Wall panellingflatness you can sight down a corridor.
  • Shuttersclean profiles, crisp paint, no apologies.
  • Doorsstability that feels like weight, and is.
  • Office furniturea thousand drawer-cycles a year, absorbed quietly.
  • Retail fixturesassembled fast, judged daily.
  • Display unitsedges that survive spotlights.
  • Premium interiorsthe substrate beneath quiet luxury.
  • CNC & routing worka board that holds the profile it is given.
  • Designer furniturefreedom to shape, without negotiation.

You will never see it. You will always feel it.

Beneath every surface that lasts is a board that deserved to.
